The month of December brings the new Pluto in Capricorn era into the current events and circumstances. With the shift of energy and the revised focus of Pluto into a new sign, we begin to see the subtle changes within our personal environment and within the outer environments as well.

From the major transitions of the last week in November, we have moved into this new era. This will change many areas of our personal and global situations. Events will impact our life in a different way than in the Pluto in Sagittarius era. This movement of the empowering planet of Pluto will begin to shift situations, circumstances, events into a new theme and into a new focus.

The Capricorn qualities surround contracts, agreements and processes. The Capricorn environments encompass corporate business, financial institutions, government policies, judicial systems, insurance industries, and international organizations. All of these areas will be under scrutiny and will be required to have a higher level of accountability because Saturn is in auditing Virgo, helping to prepare us to move into the ELEVEN year of 2009.

This shifts our accountability toward a humanitarian connection. This shift of value will be required to be prominent with business investments and our expanding focus toward humanitarian concerns. When Jupiter enters humanitarian-oriented Aquarius in January 2009, the reform or perish issues will become increasingly important for businesses to succeed. The shift of the business plans will need to incorporate an accountability issue regarding people and to build success without sacrificing people in the process. The use or misuse of authority is also a Capricorn theme, which will be expanded during the scrutiny of ethics and integrity by Saturn in Virgo.

The Gemini / Sagittarius sectors become the focus for the Full Moon on December 12th, which requires the philosophy we've used since Pluto was in Sagittarius (1995) to be the information that rises onto our shore. This high tide brings in many pieces of information that have their roots in the Pluto in Sagittarius tide pool of past actions. Also the planet of Mercury connects with Pluto in the early degrees of Capricorn, which then brings this information into the new focus for the Capricorn era. Thoughts, words and actions from this Sagittarius tide pool will be visible through the use or misuse of authority in this Capricorn era and come under a new level of scrutiny.

The Sun connects with Pluto in the early degrees of Capricorn on the 22nd, spotlighting the information that has been brought onto our shore from the Full Moon. The Sun brings new light onto subjects and issues surrounding the Sagittarius tide pool of past actions. The Sun begins the important process of shining the light onto the information from the 12th which precipitates actions to take place as Mars connects with Pluto on December 28th.

The New Moon in Capricorn on December 27th gets things blasting us into the New Year. With the added surge on December 31st when Mercury connects with Jupiter in the last degrees of Capricorn, an expansion of this information occurs. Information which surfaced on December 12th will be given the microphone. Saturn in Virgo, provides the auditing focus of ethics and accountability. Saturn turns retrograde on December 31st and provides a review of situations that have occurred since September 28, 2008.

This review process happens during the first several months of 2009 and becomes the focus of many issues slated for discussions, change and reform in 2009.
